Our DIY Kit is suitable for small to medium sized business seeking straightforward authorisations. If your business is complex or requires multiple authorisations, you may also need some technical assistance from us, which we are only too pleased to provide.
What does the Kit Contain?
The 3 part Kit contains all the documents that you will need to prepare your Application documents and submit them to ASIC:
- Online Application Guidance – Step by step guide to requesting the authorisations needed for your business and providing the information sought about your people and business systems in the online Licence Application.
- Template Core Proofs – Core proof outlines, fully populated with instructions and examples that you can adapt to suit your application.
- Template Additional Proofs – While it is not necessary to submit these with the Online Application, you do need to have them ready in case ASIC asks to see them.

You may also need some additional tools or services:
- Gold Book Business Operations Manual – This indispensible Manual integrates all the legal and compliance requirements for running an AFS business into guidance policies, procedures and templates that you can use in your business. Updated regularly by Gold Seal’s expert licensing team, it is highly recommended to assist you to comply with the AFS laws.
- AFSL Technical Support – You may need some technical advice from our team of licensing experts, for example, advice on your authorisation requirements, assisting to select Responsible Managers, answering ASIC’s requisitions, etc.
- Criminal History and Bankruptcy Checks will be required for your nominated Responsible Managers and other staff. You can order these yourself or ask us to do it for you.
And if you want Gold Seal to Do It All for You, a qualified and experienced Gold Seal consultant can prepare your Core Proofs and/or your Additional Proofs.
