Tips & Traps: Broking Manager QualificationsIf the manager of a team of broking staff provides advice to retail clients, do they also need to be qualified/trained to be able to provide advice to retail clients (i.e. Tier 1 or 2)?
Not necessarily - if the broking staff that the manager is supervising are appropriately qualified, the manager does not need to be qualified. However, the manager will need to be trained and qualified if he or she is giving advice to retail clients personally or if the broking staff are not appropriately qualified.
