Margin Lending AFS Licence Variations

On 1 January 2010, margin lending became a financial product. This means that AFS licensees who advise on or arrange margin loans need to vary their licence before 30 June 2010.

(1) Do-It-Yourself Margin Lending Licence Variation Kit (Price: $1,670.00 inc GST) which contains all the documents you will need to prepare your Application to vary your licence. It includes:   

• Online Application Guidance – Step by step guide to requesting the authorisations needed for your business and providing the information sought about your people and business systems in the online Licence Application. No need to wonder what the questions might mean.
• Template Core Proofs – Core proof outlines, fully populated with instructions and examples that you can adapt to suit your application. No need to wade through the ASIC Kits and Regulatory Guides!
• Gearing Policy & Procedures Template** - A draft Gearing Policy containing procedures for notification of margin call and your process for assisting clients with margin call.  ASIC is asking licensees to provide detailed information about their policy. Our draft policy will help you to explain your approach to gearing and margin call.

(2) Lodgement Service. (Price: $2,750.00 incl GST) We lodge your application for you using the Core Proofs and Online Application that you prepare using our DIY Kit and we deal with ASIC on your behalf.

(3) Premium Service. (Price $6,750.00 incl GST) Let us do all the work for you! We prepare your Online Application and Core Poofs, lodge them with ASIC and deal with ASIC on your behalf. We also prepare the Additional Proofs requested by ASIC.
